Make a Conditional Pledge

We have already collected many pledges of considerable amounts from substantial donors worldwide. The payments of these pledges are conditioned on the success of The Victory Project and the submission of a cure / solution for our Problems.

This means that, true to the concept of The Victory Project, donors would only be expected to fulfill their contribution pledge if and when this unique new approach works.

These can be funds you intend to donate personally when the cure / solution is found, or funds that you pledge to solicit and submit on our behalf. Pledges will be due within 60 days of the Review Board certifying an Award.

Memorials and Tribute Gifts

Gifts in memory of a family member or friend, in honor of an individual or in recognition of a special occasion express what words alone cannot and provide important support for innovation and progress. Please make your check payable to The Dewey Foundation and note the name of the person you would like to honor. It is our policy to notify the honoree's family that a gift is made. Please include the family's name and address if you would like us to do so.

Will Bequest

By remembering The Dewey Foundation with a bequest in your will, you can have an impact on innovation and progress that goes beyond your lifetime. Your bequest will qualify for an estate tax charitable deduction. When you make a bequest, we urge you to consult with your attorney and other advisors, as well as members of The Dewey Foundation Department of Development.

Here is an example of standard language that you may consider:

I give, devise and bequeath to The Dewey Foundation, a Texas non profit charitable corporation located in Austin, Texas, the sum of $___ (or: _____ percent of the residue of my estate and or other personal property appropriately described) to be used for _______ (or: to be used as its Board of Trustees shall deem advisable to best promote the institution's objectives).

Charitable Annuities and Trusts

These planned gifts can provide a wide range of benefits to you, your loved ones and the lives of people touched by The Dewey Foundation. For example, charitable gift annuities and charitable remainder trusts provide income for life for the donor and/or another beneficiary. They also provide income and estate tax deductions. Stock/Securities

You can give property such as real estate, life insurance, works of art, jewelry, rare coins and stamps, book collections, livestock and crops. These gifts provide tax advantages and may require independent appraisals to meet IRS guidelines.

Matching Gifts

Many employers have matching-gift programs through which your generosity to The Dewey Foundation can be multiplied. Please check, as any contributions to The Dewey Foundation may be eligible for many matching-gift programs of corporations, foundations and other organizations.
